The Southern Georgian Bay area is a haven for boating enthusiasts. If you’re planning on exploring the bay, having access to a boat launch is essential! Take a peek at all of the information you need regarding local, public boat launches!
Wasaga Beach Public Boat Launch is located at 2nd Street and Mosley, just off of Beach Area 1. This is a free, municipal boat launch with washroom facilities and a variety of paid parking nearby. Local residents can pick up their free, municipal parking pass at Town Hall or daily fees can be paid onsite.
The Collingwood Harbour is located at 45 Heritage View Drive and operates from April 1st to October 30th, annually. Staffed throughout the summer, launch fees are $10 daily, non-inclusive of onsite parking for your vehicle & trailer. Vehicle parking can be paid through the HotSpot app & is $10 an hour up to a daily maximum of $50. There is adequate parking here with allowance for boat trailers and portable washroom facilities available through the summer season.
Thornbury Harbour is located at 1 Bruce Street S. Open from early May to late October yearly. Launch fees are $10.95 daily, and vehicle parking is limited and paid at $10 an hour with a maximum of 4 hours. This can be paid via the HONK app. There are washroom facilities on site as well as fuel services.
Meaford Harbour Marina is located at 3 St. Vincent Street. There is adequate parking available for free at the municipal parking lot located on site. The harbour is operational from May 1st – October 30th annually and launch fees are $10 a day to be paid via the HONK app or in person at the Harbour office. There are washroom facilities and fuel services available on site.
